Brief summer gives way to fall colors in Southeast

by: Rita A. Leonard It’s the last fall for this maple. It’s on the west side of S.E. 17th north of Holgate, and most of these trees will be removed to widen 17th in preparation for the new MAX line, which will run down the middle of this street in the Brooklyn neighborhood.
