NBC picks up Grimm for another season
Show filmed in Portland moves to Thursday night time slot
Good for the folks who run 'Grimm,' the hour-long police procedural/supernatural fairy tale show that was picked up for the full, 22-episode season by NBC this week.
In fact, "Grimm" will get a coveted shot at a Thursday night time slot: 10 p.m. Dec. 8. It usually airs 9 p.m. Friday nights.
The show is filmed in Portland and makes a big effort to hire local companies and actors for many of the important jobs.
'This series is turning the traditional procedural drama on its head and is attracting a loyal following for us on Friday nights,' said NBC President Robert Greenblatt. 'We love where it's going creatively and we're excited to deliver more episodes to our audience.'
