Grange to host benefit dance

The public is invited to kick up their heels to the sounds of the Old Time Fiddlers Band from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Pleasant Valley Grange, 17115 S.E. Foster Road, Portland.

The Oregon Liquor Control Commission recently cited the 174th Market and Deli, 17405 S.E. Stark St., for failing to verify the age of a minor before selling or serving an alcoholic beverage.

K Golden Horse Inc. and corporate principals, Min Kim and Mi Kim, will pay a fine of $330 or serve a two-day liquor license suspension.

Christmas tree farm guide available

The Pacific Northwest Christmas Tree Association has prepared a free Choose and Cut guide for U-Cut Christmas tree farms in Oregon and Washington.

The new guide features 73 U-Cut locations in Oregon and 62 locations in Washington. It also includes directions to the tree farms, operating hours, the type of trees for sale and special attractions.

Those looking to cut their own Christmas tree this year will find the guide at area chamber of commerce offices, county extension offices, local libraries and the American Automobile Association of Oregon and Washington.
