11/16/11 8:03 p.m. While riding his bike to work, a man was hit by a vehicle on the northbound ramp to I-5. The driver sped off, and the bicyclist was taken by his wife to Kaiser Sunnyside Hospital.

11/17/11 6:21 p.m. A 33-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car operated by an 18-year-old driver at the intersection of Carman Drive and Kruse Way.


11/15/11 8:27 a.m. A house under construction was robbed over the weekend. Items taken included 13 white 20-foot boards valued at $130. However, four tires from a small car were left behind, possibly by the suspects.

11/18/11 1:56 p.m. An auto in the lot of Oswego Town Square was robbed of a backpack. Entry was gained by breaking a window.

11/18/11 2:12 p.m. A utility trailer worth $1,500 was stolen from a location on Lakeview Boulevard.

11/19/11 5:21 a.m. Two drunken passengers jumped out of a cab on Carman Drive and ran away without paying.

11/19/11 5:42 p.m. Cash was stolen from Graham's Stationary on Second Street. The thieves possibly entered through the back door.

11/20/11 6:43 a.m. A thief smashed in a side window and stole items valued at over $1,000, including a Garmin GPs. The incident happened on Carman Drive.

11/20/11 6:54 a.m. A Trek Bike valued at $700 was stolen from the back of a Toyota Land Cruiser parked at an apartment on Parkview Drive. The vehicle's owner heard windows breaking between 3 and 4 a.m.

11/20/11 7:01 a.m. After smashing in a rear window of a car and causing $600 in damage, a vandal took a bookbag containing an Acer notebook, two thumb drives and a black binder worth $400 in a crime on Carman Drive.

11/20/11 7:15 a.m. In another car break-in on Carman Drive, a camouflage backpack with binoculars, five hunting knives and two hunting jackets, with a total value of $2,160, were stolen.

11/20/11 7:51 a.m. Cash and miscellaneous tools worth a total of $800 were stolen in a car break-in at a Parkview Drive apartment.

11/20/11 8:06 a.m. In another crime at a Parkview Drive apartment, a $20 pair of driving gloves was stolen, plus $200 in damage was done to the vehicle.


11/15/11 8:02 a.m. A vandal smashed in a car window on Rogers Road. Total loss was $250.

11/15/11 10:46 a.m. While texting, a motorist began swerving down Boones Ferry Road and nearly hit a bicyclist.

11/15/11 3:21 p.m. A careless teen driver nearly ran down a mother and her baby in front of the U.S. Post Office on Boones Ferry Road.

11/15/11 7:45 p.m. Instead of giving a key to house cleaners, a woman used it to get into her ex-husband's house and go through his papers.

11/16/11 5:24 a.m. A window was smashed out of a car on Southwood Drive, causing $600 in damage.

11/16/11 8:16 a.m. An employee of a veterinary hospital ran after two dogs running loose on Second Street. She chased them to a house, where she saw them inside. But no people were around.

11/16/11 9:29 a.m. A 16-year-old runaway girl was caught and released to the custody of her mother.

11/16/11 10:59 a.m. A BMW's window was smashed on Deerfield Court. No items were taken, but the glovebox was gone through and there was $350 in damage.

11/16/11 12:42 p.m. A vehicle smashed into a pole on the corner of Second Street and A Avenue, in an accident involving three cars. One of the drivers was cited for making a dangerous left turn.

11/16/11 1:47 p.m. A daughter is moving in with her dad to get away from her estranged husband.

11/16/11 1:47 p.m. A man barricaded himself inside Washington County Conso-lidated Communications Agency on Southwest Childs Road. He was taken into custody without incident.

11/17/11 9:13 a.m. A female student at Waluga Junior High is receiving notes, phone calls and e-mails from an unknown person.

11/17/11 11:25 a.m. A girl is refusing to return home from Lake Oswego High School.

11/17/11 3:27 p.m. A scary man has been going into a Starbucks on Boones Ferry Road and informing customers that he's been off his medication for the past few days.

11/17/11 3:44 p.m. A criminal-mischief maker broke a kitchen-dining room window at a residence on Overlook Circle, causing $500 in damage.

11/17/11 4:45 p.m. A bi-polar man has been making threatening posts on his bi-polar support group Facebook page. It is believed he is in his manic phase. The 55-year-old man has been living in Foothills Park and has been going to a local restaurant for computer access.

11/17/11 8:57 p.m. A son having mental problems was transported to a hospital for treatment.

11/17/11 9:39 p.m. A woman is smoking marijuana in her apartment on Jefferson Parkway and the smell of the smoke is so strong it is coming into the apartment next door.

11/17/11 10:40 a.m. A 7 year old woke up and was unable to find his mother. Fortunately, she was in the TV room.

11/18/11 10:01 a.m. A 61-year-old man was stopped at a traffic stop and cited and released for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana.

11/18/11 12:45 p.m. A chocolate female lab is running around loose on Fourth Street. Its worse offense is barking at people near the Lake Oswego Public Library.

11/18/11 3:28 p.m. A heavily drinking husband left his house in his vehicle. It is believed he was headed to an AA meeting.

11/18/11 7:36 p.m. A woman refused to answer her door for an attorney serving paperwork.

11/18/11 9:54 p.m. Three 15 year olds were cited and released for possessing less than an ounce of marijuana.

11/19/11 10:24 a.m. Dog issues are causing some neighbors to feud on Jefferson Parkway.

11/19/11 10:39 a.m. Drug paraphernalia was seized from a man and women who got out of a car and started staggering.

11/19/11 11:06 a.m. A man believed to have mental issues became verbal with police when they tried to talk to him at Mountain Park Grocery and Deli on Monroe Parkway.

11/19/11 11:31 a.m. A man who has gone off his medications is now saying he does not want to live any more. He has a history of making similar statements.

11/19/11 1:41 p.m. Some kids hacked their way into a boy's Facebook account and started cyber bullying others.

11/19/11 3:09 p.m. An 11-year-old boy has been placed in protective custody after running away from a youth facility.

11/19/11 3:27 p.m. A Dachshund is now in custody after being found in the driveway of a location on Monroe Parkway.

11/19/11 5:40 p.m. Prowlers dressed in camouflage are going into backyards on Edenberry Drive, yelling and pounding on windows.

11/19/11 10:55 p.m. Teens were having a very loud party on Woodland Terrace. The party was supervised, but the juveniles were asked to keep the noise down.

11/20/11 2:31 a.m. A 22-year-old man was cited and released for walking out of a Radio Cab and not paying for his ride.

11/20/11 8:18 a.m. Parkview Drive was the scene of a car window smashing that caused $600 in damage.

11/20/11 8:20 a.m. A woman came out of her apartment on Parkview Drive to find a binder/folder and other papers strewn on the ground near her vehicle.

11/20/11 1:20 p.m. A man tried to get a ride to Albertsons by banging on the windows of cars and yelling on Bangy Road.

11/20/11 5:38 p.m. An employee had been drinking while working at a restaurant on Pilkington Road and then he began yelling at a woman and her boyfriend. The man and woman were banned from one restaurant, while the drinking man was banned from a neighboring restaurant.

11/20/11 5:54 p.m. An estranged husband has been emotionally abusing his wife over child custody scheduling issues.

11/20/11 7:39 p.m. A woman's fiancé left her in Mill City and then took off with their daughter.

11/20/11 9:12 p.m. While leaving a note chastising someone for parking in a handicapped space, a woman broke a windshield wiper.


11/16/11 7:31 a.m. A woman is getting phone calls asking her to wire money to Jamaica.

11/16/11 1:46 p.m. A property management company was informed that someone is using their company words and pictures to try to rent a rental property for $1,500 in a transaction on Craigslist.

11/16/11 4:48 p.m. A credit card was opened in the name of an 88-year-old man who lives out of state, and a charge was made on the card.

11/18/11 12:42 p.m. Check fraud was committed at Canberra Heights.

11/18/11 2:51 p.m. An unauthorized withdrawal was made from a man's debit account.

11/18/11 7:09 p.m. A man was stunned to receive a call saying his debit card had been frozen.
