There is no limit to what AV Awakenings can provide
One phrase sums up what AV Awakenings can do: the gamut.
Yes, the new Lake Oswego business can run the gamut when it comes to providing audio/visual systems. All you need to do is figure out how much you want to spend and then use your imaginations.
'The sky's the limit,' said owner Bill Reynolds. 'You can have multi-room TV or multi-room music. You can have touch panels on walls. If you can think of it, we can probably do it.'
'When someone comes in and says, 'I want this kind of TV and audio,' they can do it,' said Ian Schray of Spectacular Media, the company's public relations firm. 'It's all very customized.'
That certainly gives a customer a lot of range. It also helps that Reynolds and his partners Brent Christian and Marc Malek have moved to Lake Oswego, which is a much more convenient location for everybody.
'We started out in Beaverton in 2009,' Reynolds said. 'Four months ago we moved to Lake Oswego because it's more centralized to our clients. It makes our service times much better.
'We have such a large concentration of customers in the Lake Oswego, West Linn and Portland area that moving here was a no brainer.'
Located snugly against Key Bank on 252 A Avenue, AV Awakenings is not only in the right spot.
'Our size makes it easy to do business,' Reynolds said. 'It's easy to carry equipment in and out.'
The threesome running AV Awakenings has long experience in the audio-visual business. They decided to take the plunge as business owners two years ago, and they have not regretted it.
'We feel incredibly fortunate,' Reynolds said. 'We've been able to experience full growth for the entire time.'
Reynolds and company are getting off to a good start in Lake Oswego by doing a project for Chuck's Place, one of the city's most happening spots.
The gamut of services and sales offered covers home theater, lighting control, computer networks, home audio, home security, and green technology.
