Gresham resident Geraldine Wilhelms, 70, died Friday, Dec. 2.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Hoodview Seventh-day Adventist Church, 26775 S.E. Kelso Road, Boring.

Geraldine was born Dec. 2, 1941, in San Francisco to George and Marie (Lucarelli) Carter. She grew up in Sonora and Bishop, Calif., and graduated from Bishop High School.

On Aug. 11, 1962, she married Robert Wilhelms in Cave Junction. They resided in Portland and Damascus before moving to Gresham in 1977.

Geraldine worked for Franz Bakery as a retail clerk. She retired in 2000 after 20 years of employment.

Geraldine belonged to a bunco group and an aerobics group and went on walks with a group of friends. She also enjoyed movies and lunch gatherings with friends and traveling around the country in a motor home. Her family was most important to her.

Her brothers Ernie and Gary preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband; son, Bob Wilhelms Jr.; daughter, Robin Peterson of Gresham; and three grandchildren.

Viola Perry

April 1, 1922-Nov. 23, 2011

Gresham resident Viola Perry died Wednesday, Nov. 23. She was 89.

Private family services will be held.

Viola was born April 1, 1922, in Payette, Idaho, to John and Alice Allen. She married Orville Perry after he returned from the service, and they toured as part of the carnival for 10 years. They resided in Cottage Grove for 21 years and then in Coos Bay for 10 years until Orville's death from Alzheimer's disease.

Viola moved to Gresham in the early 1990s. She loved fishing and was an avid reader of books, mostly Harlequin romance novels.

Survivors include her son, Norville Perry of Gresham; daughter, Pamela Perry of Portland; five granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.

Vickie Sue McCray

Aug. 10, 1957-Nov. 30, 2011

Former Gresham resident Vickie Sue McCray died Wednesday, Nov. 30, in Newberg. She was 54.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Dundee Women's Club, 1026 Highway 99W, Dundee.

Vickie was born Aug. 10, 1957, in Gresham to Charles and Myrna Priddy. She graduated from Gresham High School.

In 1988, she married Marvin McCray.

Vickie worked as a machine operator. She was involved with the Newberg Relay for Life.

Her sister, Sharon Millhollin, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband; daughter, Rebecca McCray of Newberg; brother, Bill Priddy of Forest Grove; sister, Mary Woldridge of Newberg; stepchildren, Paul McCray and Candice McCray of Tacoma, Wash.; and one grandchild.
