FBI seeks help in solving attack
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of those responsible for attacking a disabled Gresham man.
The 56-year-old victim is a quadriplegic with cerebral palsy. At approximately 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, he was driving his wheelchair in the bike lane westbound along East Burnside near Southeast First Street in Gresham.
He was approached by three or four men who, he says, punched him several times. He received medical treatment for minor injuries.
The attackers are described as white or Hispanic in their late teens or early 20s. No further description is available. The FBI and Gresham Police Department are jointly investigating this case.
