Man dies from stab wound after fight at SE Portland house
UPDATE • Police say 33-year-old man involved in confrontation
A 33-year-old man died Friday night after being stabbed during a disturbance at a Southeast Portland house.
Portland police said Allen Donny Peterson died after being treated at a local hospital emergency room for a stab wound.
East Precinct officers were called to the incident at about 10:11 p.m. in the 7300 block of Southeast Henderson Street, where a man who lived in the house said two men were there as part of an ongoing dispute. Others in the house armed themselves and a fight broke out.
Police said Peterson and his brother 37-year-old Wilson Steven Peterson, were involved in the confrontation. Wilson Peterson was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree assualt.
The two men fled the house, and about 90 minutes later one man showed up at a hospital with a serious stab wound.
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
Police said the homeowner and others in the house have not been charged with any crime because they were in their house and defended themselves in the incident.
