Washington County bicyclists can help redraw the map for bikeways in the area
Folks invited to give input
Want to help redraw the map for bikeways in Washington County?
The county's Deparment of Land Use and Transportation is compiling a list of 20 to 50 potential priority projects, and could use feedback from folks likely to use those facilities. Bicyclists and other interested parties are invited to give input on potential bicycle, pedestrian and trail improvements on Thursday, Dec. 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Bicycle Transportation Alliance and Westside Transportation Alliance are inviting folks to an evening of beers, bites and bicycles, at Billy's Bar in Beaverton, 13095 S.W. Canyon Road. The bar is .4 miles from the Beaverton Central MAX station.
Folks who can't attend can give feedback via the county website, at http://www.co.washington.or.us/LUT/Divisions/LongRangePlanning/PlanningPrograms/TransportationPlanning/bikeandped/inventory-mapping.cfm. Responses are welcome until Feb. 1
