Early the morning of Dec. 15, Lake Oswego police officers were involved in a traffic pursuit into Southwest Portland.

A Portland Police officer was assisting LOPD with the pursuit but got into a traffic crash at Southwest 25th and Huber. The officer suffered minor injuries and there was minor damage to the property of a residence.

The suspect vehicle was located nearby, but the suspect had fled the area on foot. A K-9 Unit arrived, and officers began a neighborhood search. After several hours of searching, the suspect was located in a backyard shed.

The suspect, 26-year-old Mitchell Scott Talley of Southwest Portland, was arrested for multiple warrants and transported to the Clackamas County Jail by the Lake Oswego Police Department.
