12/8/11 5:50 p.m. When a woman returned from house-sitting, she found that her house had been broken into and that her car was missing. When it turned out her daughter had the car, the mother decided not to press charges.
12/7/11 7:37 a.m. A school bus backed into an unoccupied vehicle on Fifth Street.
12/9/11 8:51 a.m. Icy conditions on Buckingham Terrace caused a man's car to slide into a parked vehicle.
12/12/11 5:43 p.m. A woman discovered that her green Honda had been bashed in while it was parked on Kruse Way.
12/6/11 10:17 a.m. A purse was taken from the parish hall at Our Lady of the Lake downtown. Extra patrols were requested.
12/9/11 1:34 p.m. After recovering his stolen truck, a man found that his credit card had been stolen.
12/9/11 3 p.m. A car clout on Becket resulted in the loss of items valued at $1,400, including a Garmin GPS device, Canon camera and miscellaneous items.
12/11/11 11:58 a.m. A car on Partridge Lane was entered. A credit card was taken.
12/6/11 2:54 p.m. A man's butt was threatened with kicking in a road rage incident on Independence Avenue and Monticello Drive.
12/6/11 4:56 p.m. A gross-out incident occurred at a restaurant on Jean Road. A female came in, wiped her nose on a napkin and then set it on a table. When confronted about her yucky action, the woman started screaming obscenities.
12/7/11 9:18 a.m. A woman's 19-year-old son is being harassed on Facebook and in person at work. However, neither the mother nor son is willing to give the police details about these incidents.
12/7/11 10:26 a.m. Two Lake Oswego Junior High school students, ages 14 and 13, were taken into protective custody and lodged at Donald E. Long detention center.
12/7/11 11:12 a.m. When a friend did not show up, it turned out he was lodged at Multnomah County Jail.
12/7/11 12:45 p.m. A woman who slashed her wrists was transported to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
12/7/11 9:15 p.m. A man is being threatened online, and by text and voicemail.
12/8/11 8:35 a.m. A former employee has been harassing his ex-boss with emails and phone calls over the past couple of years. The disgruntled man will be investigated for harassment and stalking.
12/8/11 4:04 p.m. A guest at Fairfield Inn is being investigated for smoking drugs in the room.
12/8/11 4:39 p.m. A fight broke out between four people, one of them wielding a crowbar, on northbound I-5 near exit 292A.
12/9/11 11:54 a.m. A Jack Russell terrier attacked a man on Greentree Circle.
12/10/11 11:26 a.m. A woman woke up at Oswego Ridge Condos to discover that her car had been stolen. However, later she realized she had left it at Oswego Cove.
12/10/11 9:23 p.m. An extremely drunk woman was discovered down in a ditch on McNary Parkway. She claimed she was looking for Christmas decorations she had dropped.
12/10/11 9:23 p.m. A wife leapt out of her car around Carman Drive after a verbal argument with her husband.
12/10/11 11:17 p.m. A mother discovered drug paraphernalia in her 15-year-old son's room.
12/11/11 9:37 a.m. Severe harassment is being suffered by a woman from a man who has hit her buttocks with his fist, thrown things at her and spit in her face.
12/11/11 4 p.m. A deer thought to be dead after being hit by a car on Burnham Road suddenly got up and ran away. The vehicle was fine too.
12/11/11 5:47 p.m. A loud party at an apartment on First Street got even worse when a noisy argument broke out.
12/12/11 2:27 a.m. Following a physical fight, a man and a woman have been talking about suicide all night.
12/12/11 11:11 a.m. Two French bulldogs attacked another dog while it was being walked by its elderly female owner down Bay Creek Drive. The injured canine was taken to a veterinarian.
12/12/11 12:10 p.m. A kid's backpack and its contents were dumped in a woman's yard on Becket Street.
12/12/11 1:18 p.m. A 16-year-old runaway was located in Portland.
12/12/11 2:49 p.m. A son living in Arizona is leaving violent voicemail messages for his mother.
12/12/11 3:31 p.m. Christopher A. Nall, 59, registered as a sex offender.
12/12/11 5:02 p.m. A little boy came to a woman's door on Aquinas Street and said he was being followed by a tall woman wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.
12/13/11 4:09 a.m. A prowler was suspected at a woman's home on 10th Street when she heard a loud noise, followed by her power going out. The power soon came back on, but she worried someone was still lurking outside.
12/8/11 4:21 p.m. When a man purchased a cellphone off the Internet and sought to activate it, he was told it was stolen.
12/9/11 1:56 p.m. A woman was advised that her personal credit information had been stolen.
12/11/11 12:04 p.m. A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at Dave's Palisades.
