East County churches will mark Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24, and Christmas, Sunday, Dec. 25, with the following services and events:

East Hill Church

7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23

Christmas Eve: 4 and 6 p.m.

No services on Christmas.

There will be an offering to benefit homeless students in the Gresham-Barlow School District and fund wells, schools and medical treatment in Nigeria.

Meanwhile you can enjoy the story of the biblical Joseph and Mary in the multimedia presentation 'Only Hope,' which combines live theater with video. Performances take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, and 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 18.

Faith United Methodist Church

Christmas Eve: Candlelight service at 7 p.m.

Christmas: 10:30 a.m. Dec. 25.

Jan. 1: 5:30 p.m. service, followed by a potluck dinner.
