Thomas Stagg was recently named as a principal for the San Francisco office of national certified public accountants, Novogradac and Co.
The announcement was made Friday, Dec. 16, and included the promotion to principal of six other accountants from Boston, Austin, Texas, and Dover, Ohio.
Stagg is a graduate of Centennial High School. He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Brigham Young University in 2003 and is licensed in California and Washington as a certified public accountant. Stagg specializes in audit and tax services for real estate partnerships and is a frequent contributor to the Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits.
He credits his first job for his work ethic.
'My first job was delivering papers for the Gresham Outlook,' Stagg said in a press release. 'From it, I learned the value of hard work and of rising early to beat the rest of the world into work. I am honored to be part of a national accounting firm of such high caliber and prestige.'
