Gresham residents can now monitor the progress of code compliance cases online with a new case tracking system.
Online visitors can review cases by file number, address or last name. Available information includes the property owner, actions taken, violations found, when the case was opened and when the case was resolved.
Code Compliance responds to community concerns about city code violations such as graffiti, abandoned vehicles, overgrown vegetation and illegal tree cutting.
To check out the new system, visit GreshamOregon.gov/CodeCompliance. The website also features updated information about code compliance, how to submit a complaint, what to expect after a complaint is filed, how staff members approach daily inspections and other available resources.
The site also includes a brief survey on what code violations are of most concern to residents in their neighborhoods and citywide. City officials also hope to get feedback on what services residents feel are most important. The survey is available online through Jan. 31.
