There's still time to pitch in for the holidays and help needy local kids

While Christmas is Sunday and the first nights of Chanukah have already passed, there's still time to donate to Forest Grove Fire and Rescue's annual toy drive.

Last week youngsters from Laurie Bond and MaryLou Vandehey's kindergarten class dropped off mittens for the drive and firefighters collected toys at the Cornelius Walmart from shoppers.

Firefighters will start to distribute toys today, but collect donations year round for needy kids.
