Christensen gets top honor

Clackamas High senior Kelsie Christensen has been named first-team all-state in volleyball.

Christensen, a 5-11 outside hitter, this fall helped lead the Cavaliers to fifth in the state in Class 6A, with 249 kills, a .297 hitting percentage and 36 aces.

West Linn junior Caitlin O'Neil also made the first team. Lake Oswego junior Abby Gray garnered honorable mention in the balloting.

La Salle senior Ali Brown, the Tri-Valley Conference 'player of the year,' made second-team all-state in Class 4A.
