Lady Indians split games

Scappoose plays Woodburn even in three quarters

The Scappoose Lady Indians had a bad second quarter against Gladstone, but played them even in the three others in games Dec. 16-17.

The Tribe let Gladstone surge in front in the second period, and closed in the second half, but their rally fell short.

'Gladstone was probaly the best game start to finish we've had. We got to within two at one point inthe fourth then petered out,' coach and #8200;Buell Davis said.

The team had few problems with Taft in 51-16 win.

The Lady Indians are at the Stayton Tournament this week.
