Lady Lions drop games to Woodburn, Centennial

Lady Lions close with Woodburn, not Centennial

The St. Helens Lady Lions struggled against Centennial last week, but came back the following day to give Woodburn a close game.

Centennial posted a 61-36 win over St. Helens, taking an early lead and cruising to the win.

It was a different story against Woodburn. St. Helens forged a 27-19 lead by halftime, and were up by six with four minutes to go in the game.

'The turnovers just started happening. We don't know how to finish. We're working on fundamentals the next three days,' St. Helens coach Billy McKinney said.

St. Helens is at Dallas Friday.
