PSU assault suspect arrested
A suspect in a Dec. 20 sexual assault at Portland State University has been arrested.
Robert Edward Foster, 24, was taken into custody at his Beaverton home and charged with first-degree sexual abuse, second-degree burglary and indecent exposure.
He was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 27, by the U.S. Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force while he tried to flee through a back window at his home.
Foster is accused of assaulting a 27-year-old woman last week. Portland police said the suspect in the assault followed the woman, a PSU student, into a restroom in the Academic and Student Recreation Center, exposed himself and touched her in a sexual manner.
