The St. Helens Arts and Cultural Commission will hold four monthly arts and crafts workshops starting in January.

The first free workshop, 'Art Quilting,' will be taught by master quilters from the Columbia River Piecemakers Quilt Guild. It will take place Jan. 14 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Columbia Learning Center's auditorium, 375 S. 18th St. in St. Helens.
