Muma/Gunderson

Joanna Renee Muma and Michael James Gunderson announced their engagement Thursday, Dec. 22.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Steve and Dar Muma of Fairview. Joanna graduated from Reynolds High School in 2010 and is a student at Oregon State University, where she is majoring in music.

The groom-to-be is the son of Doug and Val Gunderson of Troutdale. Michael graduated from Reynolds High School in 2009 and is also a student at Oregon State University, where he is majoring in music education.

The couple plans to be married Aug. 24, 2012, at The Troutdale House by the Sandy River.
