Jonni Reece

Jonni Reece, 44, of Prineville, passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 with family and friends at her side. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at the Crook County High School Auditorium at 11:30 a.m. A reception will follow at the Prineville Golf and Country Club from 1 to 3 p.m.
Jonni was born Feb. 10, 1968 in LaGrande, Ore. to Dan and Connie Reece. Her family moved to Prineville in 1982 and she graduated from Crook County High School in 1986. She graduated from the School of Business in 1988 and was employed by Contact Industries for 23 years.
Jonni enjoyed gardening and spending time in the yard with her dogs Abby, Chica, and Killer. She enjoyed the outdoors, yard sales, rock collecting, and camping trips, but above all else she loved sharing that time with family and friends. Jonni cared more about the journey than the destination, and as long as she was in the company of loved ones, was content in everything she did.
She is survived by her significant other, Ross Kooch of Prineville; parents, Dan Reece of Prineville, and Connie Reece of Madras; daughter, Lexi Evans of Redmond; brothers, Hank and Harley Reece of Prineville, and Haydn Reece of Madras; sisters, Jayme Simmons of Madras, and Joely Reece of Powell Butte; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Jonni Reece Benefit Account at any Wells Fargo location. Contributions will be used for funeral services and additional proceeds will be donated to Partners In Care Hospice House in Bend.
Arrangements are in the care of Autumn Funeral Home of Bend.
