Eagle/Loggers blasted 68-6

Jordan Valley stomps Mitchell/Spray 68-6
Jordan Valley rolled over Mitchell/Spray 68-6 Saturday in the High Desert League football opener for each team.
The Mustangs rolled out to a 28-0 first quarter lead and extended their lead to 52-0 by halftime.
“I think Jordan Valley is that good,” said Mitchell/Spray co-head coach Tim Foster. “We need to learn how to work through adversity though.”
The Eagle/Loggers got their only score of the game when Brett Domenighini took the second-half kickoff and returned it 75 yards for a touchdown.
“We didn’t play with the kind of energy and intensity we needed to win,” Foster said. “I hope the game serves as a learning experience.”
   The Eagle/Loggers (1-1) play at Huntington/Harper (0-3) on Saturday.
