est "Ernie" Clifford Kaufman, a Prineville resident, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008.
He was 92 years old.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Prineville Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Juniper Haven Cemetery. Bishop John A. Morgan will officiate. Bishop Curt Workman will dedicate the grave.
Ernie was born on May 11, 1915 in Salisaw, Okla., to LeRoy and Catherine (Gadberry) Kaufman.
He came to Oregon in 1948 and settled in Gresham, then moved to Corvallis in the '70's, and then to Prineville in 1993. He owned and operated a septic service in Corvallis.
He worked in various jobs: as a carpenter, a fruit picker, an electrician, a plumber, janitor, and in lawn care.
Ernie married Nola Amy Pierce in Molalla, Ore., on Dec. 23, 1981.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; Prineville 2nd Ward. He served an L.D.S. mission with his wife Nola in Little Rock from 1992-1993. He also attended the XYZ Club at the First Baptist Church in Prineville.
Ernie enjoyed chopping wood. William is survived by: his wife Nola Kaufman of Prineville; his step sons Steven Patrick and his wife Elaine Noonan of Omaha, Neb., Mark Shaun and his wife Janie Noonan of Salem, Ore., and Kent Craig and his wife Jewel Noonan of Ashland, Ore.; his step-daughter Maureen "Mo" Annette and her husband Curt Workman of Prineville, Ore.; his sister Edith Price of Indiana, 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements are in the care of the Prineville Funeral Home.
