Lloyd came to Prineville in 1947 from Oklahoma when he was 9 years old. He graduated from Crook County High School in 1957. He was a resident of Prineville for 61 years. Prineville was always his home and he never wanted to live anywhere else. He was a hard worker, started delivering papers on his bicycle when he was little. As an adult he went on to spend 30 more years working for Ochoco Irrigation District. The last 14 years he worked as manager.
His first love was his family and faith. He was a member of the Prineville Congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses for 42 years. Lloyd was always willing to help others, never wanting anything in return.
He passed away at his home with his family and wife at his bedside. We, his family, wish to thank PMH Hospice for giving us so much support and comfort.
Lloyd had a very active life as a minister in his congregation. His hobbies included woodworking; fixing up his home and lots of honeydo's.
