Lynda Holliday

Lynda Lee Holliday, a Prineville resident, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 in Burns, Ore. She was 66 years old.
   Memorial services will be Saturday, April 14, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Prineville Funeral Home. Pastor Willard Fenderson will officiate. Private burial was at the Gridley Cemetery in Gridley, Calif.
   Lynda was born in Gridley, Calif., on June 5, 1940 to Robert and Edna (Sizelove) Gosselin. She attended and graduated from Biggs High School, and then went on to two years of college, earning an associate's degree. ]
   She attended nurses training in Jackson, Calif. Lynda married Lee "Duane" Holliday in Prineville, Ore., in March of 1969.
   Lynda worked at Clear Pine as a cutter for more than 20 years and retired in 2004, then went back to Clear Pine to work in the offices for a short time.
   Lynda was an avid cook, enjoyed painting, loved hunting for arrowheads and Indian artifacts, fishing, and being with her family, especially the grandchildren.
   Lynda is survived by: her husband Duane of Prineville; her sons Jim and his wife Teri of Burns, Craig and his wife Heather Smith of Emmett, Idaho; stepson Kevin and his wife Marie of Newberg, Ore.; stepdaughter Terrie and her husband Ken Black of Prineville; sister Jeri Mae Cummings of Gridley, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents.
   Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Charles Cancer Ward, at 2500 NE Neff Road, Bend, Oregon 97701.
   Arrangements are in the care of the Prineville Funeral Home.
