JoAnn Jackson

JoAnn V. (Mortensen) Jackson, 72, of Clackamas died March 31, 2007, of natural causes.
   A memorial gathering will be held at Skyline Memorial Gardens, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., in Portland at 2 p.m. on April 20.
   Mrs. Jackson was born on June 4, 1934, in Kalispell, Mont.
   She attended Milwaukie High School.
   She lived in the Portland and Milwaukie areas from 1941 to 1981. In 1952, she married Darwin Jackson. He preceded her in death in 1983.
   She worked as a physical therapist assistant at Rosa Villa.
   From 1981 to 1983, she lived in Florence, Ore., and then from 1983 until 2006, she lived in Post and Prineville.
   She is survived by: daughters Diana L. Jackson and Tammela R. Jackson; grandson Ryan S. Jackson; granddaughters Vennesa Jackson and JacLyn A. Huffman; sister Teresa Axt; brothers Pete, Antone, Albert and Carmen Mortensen; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Remembrances may be made to the Humane Society of the Ochocos. Holman-Handsins-Bowsker and Waud handled the funeral arrangements.
