Graveside inurnment services will be held at Prineville, Ore., on July 5, at 4 p.m.
Memorial services will be held at Suttle Lake, at 1 p.m. on July 7, coco potluck following.
During her younger years, she lived in Nebraska and Colorado. In 1935, the family moved to Prineville, Ore., where she met her husband , Leonard William Cross, and was married on July 1, 1939. They were married for 59 glorious years. They farmed and combined in the Treasure Valley for most of their lives. Donna worked at the Caldwell Hospital in the lab department for several years as a medical secretary. They had three children, two daughters and one son.
They retired from farming in 1988 and moved to Lake Havasu, Ariz., staying there until 1996, when they moved to Oak Harbor, Wash., for health reasons. In 1999, Donna lost the love of her life. Donna had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed hearing people laugh. She was one who never wasted a minute of her life, and she was always on the go. She will be remembered for her love for the Lord and her family. Wherever they traveled, they made dear friends with whom they kept in contact through the years.
She never forgot special days, such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Donna Cross was preceded in death by her father and mother, Tom and Ella May Fraser, two brothers, Norman and Leroy Fraser, husband, Leonard William Cross, and granddaughter Branda Snow.
She is survived by: two brothers, Harold Fraser, of Idaho, Pat and wife, Virginia Fraser of Oregon; three children, Yvonne and husband, Adrian Yribar of Michigan, Lennette and husband Norm Spidell, of Idaho, Leonard E. and wife Darlene Cross, also of Idaho; one adopted daughter, Heida Gobbel-Singer, and husband David Singer of Utah; 17 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
