Instead of the title of "sports reporter" for the Central Oregonian, I think I'd much rather have my business card read "sports czar." Just a thought.
Anyway, we have got a full boat of sports this weekend, most notably on the rodeo scene. Tonight and Saturday night is the Big Valley Spring Fling Rodeo at the Crook County Fairgrounds, while the Crook County rodeo team will begin their spring season in Roseburg at the Umpqua Valley High School Rodeo.
Additionally, the baseball and softball teams will play a doubleheader at Pendleton on Saturday; boys and girls tennis are at a tournament at Treasure Valley Community College, boys golf is at Pendleton Country Club and girls golf is at Broken Top; Crook County track is at the Springfield Twilight Invitational; and finally, Mitchell track is at the Condon Invitational.
Last night, the Cowboys and Cowgirls tennis teams defeated Madras. The Cowgirls won outright, while the Cowboys tied Madras 4-4, but won 63-57 in games.
   Have a good weekend, kids.
