Middle School raffle wraps up

The raffle of Crook County Middle School's original history quilt (shown above with Julie Swinehart) created by 250 students who each made a square depicting a historical event, and finished by I Sew for U, ends Wednesday. Reportedly, they are far from reaching the hoped for goal of $1,000, and are eager to sell the remaining tickets. Proceeds go towards funding House Two end of the year field trips. Tickets are still available at Crook County Middle School for the colorful king size quilt at six for $5, or by calling 447-6283.
