   February 16
   The Sons of the American Legion will host a chicken fried steak dinner at 6 p.m. upstairs at the Vets Club with music by Swing Shift to follow dinner. Cost is $6.50.

   February 17
   Crooked River Pomona 42 will meet at Mud Springs Grange Hall in Madras. A potluck lunch will follow the business meeting.
   The Eagles Lodge will serve a barbeque pork steak dinner at 6 p.m. for all members and guests. A Jam Session will follow for dancing.
   The annual Quilt-a-thon will take place at the Soroptimist's Senior Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A variety of quilting activities are planned and volunteers of all sewing capacities are welcome. Call 447-4136 ext, 3239 or 3275 for more information.

   Lookout Mountain Grange GWA will meet at the home of Edy Hankins, 1210 S.E. Sixth St. in Prineville with a potluck lunch to precede the business meeting.

   St. Andrew's Episcopal Church will host their annual Strove Tuesday Community Pancake Supper from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The supper is open to the public. There is no charge, but St. Andrew's will accept a free-will offering. The Crook County Cadet Boychoir will perform. For more information call 447-5831.

   The Prineville County Quilt Show will be held at the Crook County High School today and tomorrow. A collection of quilts and family heirlooms will be showcased and quilts will be raffled and sold along with a variety of other gift items. Those wishing to participate may pick up an entry form at Prairie Girls Quilt Shop, 970 NW Third St.
