NJROTC needs $$$ for Florida trip

To the editor: We are very excited to announce that the Crook County NJROTC Drill Team competed and was awarded the first place trophy at the San Diego District No.11 Naval meet on March 3 for their exemplary armed drill performances. They were up against and beat the best schools in the western states who received an invitation to compete at the Naval Nationals in Pensacola, Fla. April 6 and 7. NJROTC is currently high point for our region overall competing against every military division, and has been working overtime to take the Northwest Regional Championship to be determined later this month at Roseburg High Schools final JROTC competition. It is for this reason we are writing this letter. We are currently under a dead line of less then 30 days to raise the $20,000 needed to meet the travel needs for this epic and proud moment in Crook County history. With that we are asking for your support in helping us meet our goal. Any amount would be appreciated and our drill team will compete with pride and honor when representing our small but mighty community! Please make check payable to: CCHS NJROTC 1100 SE Lynn Blvd Prineville, OR 97754 Attn: Master Chief Jackson Thanking you in advance for your support. Bob Palmer Prineville
