A big thank you for the folks at PMH

To the editor: We would like to publicly share our heartfelt gratitude for the folks at Pioneer Memorial Hospital. Recently my 84-year old husband Frank, had a very major, high-risk surgery. We were very pleased with the care he received — competent, tender, loving care. How does one say thanks for saving a life? But we’d like to at least say it here, to Dr. Sproat, Dr. Williams, PA Linda Hatch, and all the staff: housekeeping, dietitian and food service, admitting, emergency (three times), surgical and floor nurses, respiratory, and intensive care (11 days) staff. Your tasks were not easy, and we appreciate how well you performed them. Thank you, blood donors, for sharing your life with those who would need your help. Prineville is fortunate to have other services as well, as we found out: Norco, home health, and home physical therapy. We wouldn’t have done so well without you. Thanks to you, his recovery is improving and life is starting to feel more normal. Thank you everyone, for being there when we needed you. Lambertina Bueckert and Family Prineville
