>Lacey Iona Barnhouse of Prineville passed away on Friday May 11, 2001, victim of a vehicle accident. She was 16 years old.
Lacy was born on October 8, 1984 to David and Susan (Coen) Barnhouse in Corvallis, Oregon. She attended Crook County High School and was a sophomore. She was a member of the Crook County High School Honor Society, Crook County High School Choir, Calvary Baptist Church Puppet Team, Crook County Thespians, Fun Club at Crook County Middle School and the Calvary Baptist Church. She did a mission for the church in Kentucky in 1998 and was planning a mission to Africa this summer.
Lacey was very involved in music with two of her friends singing at several churches in Prineville. Her hobbies included writing short stories, reading, music, spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her parents; David and Susan Barnhouse, brothers; Wesley Garrett Barnhouse and Nicholas Michael Barnhouse, all of Prineville, maternal grandparents; David and Beverly Coen of Newport, Oregon, two uncles and one aunt. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; Claud and Pat Barnhouse.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15 and from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16 at Whispering Pines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16 at the First Baptist Church. Pastor Joel Dunaway and Pastor Ken Taylor will officiate.
