Anne Ilene Ryan
Anne was born on August 19, 1915 to Archie and Emily (Harris) McFarland in Summit, Oregon.
She attended school in a one room school house from first through the seventh grade at Summit Grade School and attended eighth grade at Burntwood School. After school she worked in the restaurant industry in Corvallis, Portland, Vanport, Bend, Madras and on to Prineville. On June 8, 1941 Anne married Robert Ryan in Maryland. She worked in the shell and ammunition building business during World War II in Maryland.
In 1950 Anne and Bob moved to Prineville and opened up Bob's Flowers and Gifts. She continued to run the business until 1985 when she retired.
She was a past member of the VFW and Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include her sons; Roger L. Whiteman of Bend, Robert C. Ryan and Patrick M. Ryan of Prineville. Sisters; Dama Hill of Prineville, Twila Quetschke of Albany and Ardyth Cate of Waldport. Brother; Dick McFarland of Corvallis, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Robert and George McFarland.
