Crook County's NJROTC makes good showing at Northwest Conference<BR>

   Close on the tail of their trip to the National Field Meet in Pensacola, Florida, the Crook County High School NJROTC drill team took on more competition. The team traveled to Everett, Washington last weekend for the Northwest Drill & Rifle Conference.
   This time, instead of only Naval ROTC squads competing, the 2001 Regional Championships included Marine, Army, Navy and Air Force drill teams. The two dozen or so drill teams taking part were from high schools representing communities all over Washington state and Oregon.
   Bob Palmer, assistant to the local NJROTC's Master Chief Donny Jackson, reported that once again the CCHS drill team stood out.
