>In order to qualify and be able to sell an animal through the 4-H/FFA Livestock Sale, market animals will have to be weighed and ear-tagged
4-H/FFA Market Lamb, Hog and Goat weigh-in and ear tagging will be held Sat, May 12 at the Crook County Fairgrounds. Weigh-in will run from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on a first come, first serve basis.
4-H/FFA project members in the Post/Paulina area will have the option of weighing and tagging at the Les Schwab Ranch or the Crook County Fairgrounds. Weigh-in at the Les Schwab Ranch will be from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. only. 4-H/FFA market weigh-in and ear tagging at designated sites on this date is mandatory. Those failing to do so will not sell an animal through the 2001 4-H/FFA Livestock Sale.
Each member may bring two (2) animals to be weighed. Animals may not be shared within the family. Remember, it is not mandatory that the member be present at weigh-in, just the animal. Parents, friends, neighbors, leaders, etc. may bring the animal(s) to be weighed and tagged.
