Parents of the graduating class of 2001 will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the high school library to finalize plans for the all-night graduation party. At least 50 parents are needed to help with the party and to decorate the night before. All parents are encouraged to attend this meeting and sign up for a task.

The sixth annual High Desert Western Arts Gathering will take place at the Deschutes County Exposition Center from June 1-3. For ticket information call 317-3747. This event is to celebrate and preserve the history, traditions, arts, crafts, skills and customs of the American Cowboy and Ranch Culture.
The Fossil School District is hosting a Celebration of Fossil Schools from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Fossil Elementary School. The event celebrates 100 years of high school work, 75 years at the Fossil Elementary School building and 50 years in the Wheeler (County) High School Building. All past and present students of these schools are invited.
