Who would steal a hunting trophy?

the editor: It’s funny what things people steal. They steal rings for their loved ones. A testament of their love? If their loved one knew that it was stolen, what would they think? A hunter who shoots a trophy class animal and has it mounted, has reason to be proud of his trophy hanging on the wall. Although hanging someone else’s trophy on the wall might be something to talk about, it would always be someone else’s trophy whether you claim it to be yours or not. A true hunter would never steal someone else’s trophy. I had a trophy class antelope mount taken sometime between Wednesday, May 16 and Friday, May 18. If you have any information about it or would like to know more about the mount, please call 447-7833 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Marin Weger Prineville
