Charlotte Margret Seaquist

Charlotte Margret Seaquist died June 15, 2001 at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Prineville. She was 83 years old.
   She was born Jan. 6, 1918 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Joseph and Marie (Gilmore) Frederick.
   She grew up and attended school through eighth grade in Owatonna, Minn. She moved to Portland with a brother and sister-in-law in 1940 where she worked as a nurse's aide at several hospitals. She married Richard Seaquist in 1942.
   The family moved to St. Paul in 1944 and back to Oregon in 1957, settling in Prineville.
   She moved to Portland for several years after her children were grown and moved back to Prineville in 1974 where she worked at Coin Millwork and Barr's Cafe until retiring in 1979.
   Her hobbies included hunting, fishing, bowling, flowers, dancing, jigsaw puzzles and playing bingo. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary 2555, VFW Auxiliary and the Aurona Lutheran Church of Owatonna, Minn.
   Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Dareld, Sr., and Diana F. Seaquist and daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Mike Brickey of Prineville; son, Robert Seaquist of Salem; daughter, Diana Seaquist of Salem; sister and brother-in-law Helen and Robert Borglund of Lindstrom, Minn.; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, all of Prineville and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, six siblings and one great-grandson.
   Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Max Baer Heart Fund through the Eagles Auxiliary 255 in Prineville.
   Viewing will be held Fri., June 22 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Whispering Pines Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Mon., June 25 at Juniper Haven Cemetery.
   Whispering Pines Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
