   July 7
   The Trail Ride Supreme at Diane's Riding Place in Tumalo will start with a pre-ride social at 3 p.m. and rides starting at 4 p.m. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. Participants bring a horse for a trail ride along the Deschutes with an appetizer stop along the waters edge. Return to the ranch for a steak dinner and live entertainment. Call 541-385-7933 for reservations. Partial proceeds benefit CASA programs.

   July 9
   The Historical Society and Crook County have teamed up to give Courthouse tours this summer. The tours will be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the summer. Tours start at noon at the bottom of the courthouse steps.
   The Crook County School District will hold a School Board work session at 6 p.m. at the Middle School media room. A regular meeting will follow at 7 p.m.

   The Crook County Library Summer Reading Program for children features Horses! with Jill Bonanno, Peggy Schmidt and Myrra Shivers. Craft Project: Bucking bronco and other horse activities. Program starts at 6:30 p.m. Call 447-7978 for more information.

   The Central Oregon Parkinson's Support Group will meet at the Home Health Conference Room of St. Charles Medical Center in Bend. Call 548-3941 for more information.

   The OSU Extension Service in conjunction with the Central Oregon Chapter of Master Gardener Association is hosting a tour of gardens in Deschutes County from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $7 per person and tickets are available in advance or on the day of the event.    The American Cancer Society Relay for Life will be held at the Ward Rhoden Stadium in Prineville to benefit the American Cancer Society. Opening Ceremonies begin at 10 a.m. Registration forms and more information is available by calling Kim Burge at 416-9118.
   The Soroptimist Reporter Hoe Down and Potluck will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at Les Schwab Field, Crooked River Park picnic area. Bring your favorite dish and RSVP by calling 447-6844.
