An old-fashioned carnival, brought in by Davis Shows Northwest, officially opened at the Crook County Fairgrounds Wednesday. The rides and festivities will be open Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon to 7 p.m. Ticket prices for carnival rides are $1 per ticket, with most rides taking three to four tickets. Wrist bands are available for $15 Thursday and $16 Friday and Saturday which enables ride enthusiasts to ride unlimited during wrist band hours. Wrist bands are good for one day only. Wrist band hours are 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Wrist bands will not be offered Sunday, although all rides are $1.50 that day only. A special family pack of 24 tickets sells for $17 every day of the carnival.
