More kudos for local medicos

To the editor: I want to express my heartfelt thanks to all the people involved in my surgery and my recovery. I had a very serious case of Staph infection and my surgeon, Dr. Sproat, wasn’t sure he could even save my life or my leg. The infection set in after a fall on my front porch and I was still at home. Due to the insistence of one of my Home Health nurses, Norma Shrum, I went to the hospital E.R. and was admitted the next day. So with the help of God and Dr. Sproat, I am here today in my own home and doing well for myself. I also want to thank all the nurses at the hospital and the care takers at Ochoco Village Assisted Living and last but not least the cooks and their excellent food and service. I want to express publicly a “Big” thanks to my daughter, Theresa Hamilton, without whose wonderful help and care I couldn’t have done without. God bless you all, Beulah Roberts
