the editor: Upon the passing of my husband, Norm Cooper, I and my family wish to thank the community of Prineville for its great outpouring of love an support during this difficult time. You have made our dark days brighter with your food, flowers, card, visits and willingness to help in so many ways. Thank you to the businesses for allowing employees to take time off work to attend Norm’s funeral. Your presence made it special. And thank you to the “Class of “58” for the beautiful yellow mums — I have no idea where to send a thank you note. Our business, Cooper Electric, will continue to serve your needs the same as it has for the past 15 years. I, along with son Jared and his wife, Lisa, will be carrying on the tradition of good service which Norm and I have always valued. A big thanks to our customers who have been faithful and patient at we have learned to go forward without Norm in the shop. The pain of our loss is a little less because of all of you.
