el Schroeder Freeman of Prineville died Sun., July 8 at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Prineville. She was 91 years old.
She was born Sept. 4, 1909 in Norway, Ore., to James Finley and Berdetta (Burgess) Schroeder. She graduated from Myrtle Point Union High School in 1927. She married Lawrence Freeman in 1928 in Myrtle Point. After Mr. Freeman died in 1966 she moved to Kellogg and then to Prineville in 1980.
She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed spending time with family.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Claire and Grant Madison and Barbara and Roy Stauch of Prineville, Ann and Jim Clayton of Ontario; son and daughter-in-law James L. and Viola Freeman of Redmond; sisters, Eva Hughes of Tualatin and Joyce Cornelius of Redding, Calif.; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one grandchild, three siblings and her parents.
There will be a private family service at a later date with inurnment in Kellogg, Ore.
