Constance Ilene Lewis
She was born Aug. 3, 1918 to Charles and Verna (Meeker) Baird in Elkton, Ore.
She lived in a float house in Reedsport and attended the Reedsport schools until finishing the ninth grade.
She then lived in various towns in California. During WWII she worked at Moore Dry Dock Company in Oakland, California as a plumber's helper.
She moved to Prineville and worked for Sterns Cattle Company as a ranch hand while married to Jack Lewis. She then worked for Jack Ray Ranch in Silver Lake until moving back to Prineville.
Her interests included horses, watching sports on television, gambling, and spending time with her special friend Bill Craig.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Private cremation will be held.
