To the editor: I am from Prineville originally. I was born here many years ago. I want to make a comment on the fair here in Crook County. After going to it and then attending the one in Madras there is no comparison. The flower garden in Madras was beautiful and the exhibits were wonderful by comparison to Prineville. I think someone should check on why this one isn’t brought up to what Madras’ is. It only costs one flat sum to go in and park and you can see everything you want to. Also, the carnival is placed away where you don’t have to walk through it if you don’t want to. The senior citizens don’t have to walk for miles to see everything and people with disabilities have ample parking, which they need. Other than that I had a nice visit. Diane Barnes Sutherlin, Ore.
