Many thanks to many people

To the editor: I would like to take this time to extend my appreciation to a few local businesses. In August, the graduates of Crook County High School Class of ’71 held their 30th Reunion. The committee solicited the Sandwich Factory to cater our Friday evening social and Saturday banquet. We were amazed with the service, and surprised with the quantity and quality of food at each of the events. The golf tournament and banquet were held at Meadow Lakes Golf Course. Lorie Ontko, was extremely helpful with all of our arrangements. Thank you all for making this a memorable reunion. The following weekend, I enjoyed hours of laughter and more good food ... You ask where? The Crooked River Murder Mystery Dinner Train’s, “Broadway on the Rails.” As secretary of the Pacific Northwest Fence Chapter, I have been to many functions and have not found one to be as entertaining as the Dinner Train. This is the second visit for our group of approximately sixty. Being a business owner you deal with a lot of stress and any event offering three hours of laughter is worth a million bucks. Thank you, Brenda True and Terry Hisaw in Group Sales, you both worked diligently to accommodate our members. The food was great, the entertainment superb and train ride relaxing. Proud to be a Prinevillian, Debbie L. Smith Prineville
