Lloyd Abraham Adams
He was born on November 22, 1922 to Oscar and Ruth (Webb) Adams in Macon County, North Carolina.
He attended schools in Bend and Tumalo and graduated from Redmond High School.
Following graduation, he entered the United States Army. After an Honorable Discharge, he returned to Spray and worked in the family business, Table Rock Lumber Company. He later moved to Kinzua and worked at the Kinzua mill.
He moved to Prineville in 1962 where he worked for Pine Products until his retirement in 1990.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, rockhounding, gardening, raising flowers, spending time with family, friends and his dog Pepper. He was very fond of and participated in the Adams Family Reunion.
He was a lifetime member of the American Legion of Spray, Oregon.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Adams of Waldport; son, L. Eugene Adams of Prineville; daughters, Cathy Thompson and Debbie Barter of Prineville; brothers, Jim Adams of Spray, Frank Adams of Kennewick, Washington, Odell Adams of Spray, O.L. Adams of Heppner, Bobby Adams of Redding, California; step-daughters, Barbara Logan of Waldport and Lola Burnham of Newport; step-sons, Charles Russell of Bend, Wayne Jamtgaard of Rohrsville, Maryland, Gary Gesler of Los Angeles, California; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters and four siblings.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m.. on Sat., October 6, at the Spray Cemetery. Pastor John Freeman will officiate.
