ald Wesley Louis Neuman of Post died Fri., Oct. 19. He was 48 years old.
He was born Oct 6, 1953 in Albany to John and Anita Neuman. He grew up and spent most of his life in Alsea.
After high school he began a career in the timber industry and opened his own timber cutting corporation in 1988.
He married Kelly in 1985 and in 1995 he and his family moved to Post.
His interests included hunting and he was an avid outdoorsman. He also enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include his wife Kelly Neuman; son, Brandon Neuman; daughters, McKenzie Neuman, Michelle Anderson and Melinda Schmidt; grandchildren, Whitney, Kasey and Kylie Anderson, Haley and Tyler Dixon and Michael Schmidt; brother, Jack Neuman; half-brother, Walt Short and half-sister, Jeannie Ritchey.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held Friday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Prineville.
